Poster - Save The Honey Bees

Reflection I was learning to skim and scan to find information about the honey bee so I could do a poster to inform people about them. I learnt that I need to make my font colour needs to clear and the font size bigger so the poster can be read clearly. I enjoyed this.

Reflection In this activity I was learning to write a explanation writing. I found it easy to put the things that we did in order.I think I need to improve on using more time connectors and more cause and effect.

Skimming And Scanning

I was learning to skim and scan to find information in the text. I learnt that hoiho's live up to eight years and that karearea eats medium sized birds. I worked with a buddy and enjoyed it.

Reflection In this activity I was learning to solve EPS values. I was confused about some respect and some responsibility . I think I should work on getting my work more faster. I didn't know what place the listen to who is speaking one. This term I am going to show respect to not speak on the mat.

 I was learning to find a unit fraction of a set. I found it tricky to answer the question. My next step is to explain my answer better .

In this piece of work I was learning to write a narrative poem. I learnt That every time you do a rhyme you start on a next line . Next time I want to add a simile and an other alliteration. I found it easy to rhyme in my narrative poem .

Reflection In this activity I was learning to answer a range of comprehension questions. I found this tricky because I didn't know what jerked mean. Next time I need to look words I don't know up in the dictionary. I asked the teacher.

Reflection I found it easy to know what i learnt in the story  and I also found it easy to think what the author wanted me to feel and see . I found it tricky on the question that say what did you know about snails before reading the book, because I didn't know that much things about snails .

I was learning to write a story about firefighter saves the kitten. I can put nice intursing words in my story. I found tricky thinking what to put in my story.

I was learning about a Pepeha. I still find it tricky to explain. I found it easy to find information about a pepeha.  I need to keep working on my skimming and scanning

Statistical Enquiry

I was learning to do a statistical enquiry. I found it a little bit tricky remembering who i had asked. I was proud of working with my buddy . I really liked doing this work because it was really interesting to find out what was room 14's favourite colour. I would like to do another statistical enquiry.
