Contractions

I was learning to make contractions. I can make two longer words into one shorter word. It was easy because the new word had parts of the two words in it.

Punctuation Marks

I was learning to use the correct punctuation marks in our sentences. I know when to use each punctuation mark. It was easy because we have been practicing using punctuation.

Making Inferences

I was learning to make inferences.I can identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel,think about or see in the text. It was tricky because it was not always easy to find the clues in the text.

Place Value

I was learning about place value. I can identify how many hundreds,tens and ones. It was easy because the video we watched in class explained place value well.
